June 2017 Michael send a corney yet sweet Facebook message to Nikki which started it all. (Granted we were at the police academy at the same time. Nikki class 151 Michael class 152)

Nikki agreed to drive 1.5 hours to go on a date with Michel in Beckley. We went to Zen's restaurant downtown (when it was open...) and Nikki had the best burger of her life!! ;)

The journey was far from easy. Things didn't always go smoothly.. But there was no doubt we were made for each other. Michael keeps Nikki from being a loner hermit who refuses any and all help. He reminded her how true love feels. And we all see a positive change in Michael.

May 2018 Nikki moved to Beckley to be with Michael and joined the Beckley Police Department with him. And the story continues from there!
